Christmas activities

We went to cut down a Christmas tree this past weekend. Haley didn't really like it, we think that she is afraid of trees. Once this summer we were walking under some of our neighbors over grown trees and birds scared us from then on she has been shy around trees. It was also getting dark and they didn't have a good selection so we ended up getting one at home depot, after we drove through the lights at alum creek. It was so much fun. Haley got to sit up front on my lap and she had a blast pointing out all the lights to us. We were very surprised to see her get so excited about it.








Decorating the tree. Haley loved doing putting decorations on but every time she touched the tree she wined because the needles are sharp. by the end most of the decorations were on the bottom half.










Now that Haley has been taking a lot of pictures for Christmas she has started to say cheese and give us that funny kid face.







Haley is so scared of what seems like everything!! We were getting out our decorations and came upon a bunny that sings for Easter, she used to love it and press the button to play it every 10 seconds, now she cries and stands behind Jason when i turn it on. Also she is so scared of the nutcracker we have. Just like the bunny she cries when we show it to her, its like she freezes up and can't move when she sees it, she just squats down and cries. It is so funny we were laughing so hard when she would do this. Now she is still scared of them but after we stop she asks for us to do it again. I think just because she thinks its fun that she is making us laugh or she is playing a joke on us. She always plays jokes on us telling us she wants to give us a kiss then laughing when she wont give it to us so i wouldn't put it past her acting like she is scared!!

Indian Summer

Everyday when Jason gets home Haley follows him right up the stairs and plays in our room while he changes from work. She wants to do everything that he does and be everywhere he is. It was no surprise when Haley wanted to help Jason was the van.

Picking Pumpkins

This past weekend we went to a farm around the corner from our house, Haley had so much fun! We got to take a hayride out to a corn maze that lead you to the pumpkin patch. Once we got just the right pumpkin we rode back to the farm to the petting zoo (two cows and a rabbit). There was also a hay bale maze for the kids, Haley got so scared once she got in. They also had a bounce house which Haley also hated even though she loved them before. It was a great day, can't wait to carve the pumpkins!!

More Zoo Fun

Now that I have been feeling better we are back on the go. Thanks to Amber we are also taking pictures again.

We love the zoo in the spring and fall all the animals are up and very active compared to the lazy days of summer.

This kangaroo was sitting on the path and let us walk up to it.

Summer Time

It has been a very long time but we got more pictures developed from the summer. They were taken with a disposable camera so some of them are not very good.

We went to pump it up with Haley's cousins. she loved it unfortunately we found out 3 days later that we are expecting so i cant go with her anymore :(


Turtle park in Dublin. Haley loved all the water coming up from the ground. It was fun to get her to look in the hole then it would surprise her and shoot up.

Indian Lake Haley loved the water and the waves on the beach. She thought that it was so funny when they knocked her over she would not let us hold her hand but we were right next to her the whole time.
