Spring 2010

Its been such a hot summer so we have not been able to do much. Chase gets sick if he is outside to long. so here are some pictures from the spring when we were able to do a little more.

New bed

While i was in the hospital with Hunter, Jason would leave after dinner for the night to put Haley to bed and stay with her for the night. Well one night she was mad and decided to climb out of her crib. We knew this day was coming but it came at the worst possible time. Not only was Hunter waking up every two hours now that Haley was in a big girl bed she was getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Before Hunter arrived Haley would sleep in until 10am but now is waking up at 6 or 7. our family is going through a lot of new adjustments but now over 3 months into it we are finally adjusting!!

Hard at work

Jason was on leave from work for two weeks and we didn't want to wast that time! He was hard at work building a fence and a new swing set for Haley to play safely in our back yard!!

Visitors

After Chase Hunter was born we had many visitors, but the best one was a surprise my sister Andrea flew in from Las Vegas on her spring brake to meet her new nephew!!! It was a wonderful surprise but was to short a visit!! Even though we had a newborn it was a very busy week it was Easter that Sunday and even though hunter was only 3 days old we couldn't let Haley miss out on all the activities. We went to grandmas house on Saturday to color eggs and back on Sunday to have an egg hunt and Easter dinner.

New Arrival

Our family has grown!! We had a new arrival on March 31, 2010!!

Chase Hunter Webster's Birth Story:

We decided to be induced early so that he didn't come out as big as Haley did. We chose to go in on Tuesday march 30th, i really didn't want to have an April fools baby. we were supposed to arrive at 7:45 my mom was going to babysit Haley she came to our house about 6:45. we were all ready and heading out to the car with bags in hand when my phone rang it was the hospital saying that they had no rooms and that i should stay at home until they called back. I got a phone call at 10am thinking yes it was time, but no they just wanted to let me know that it would be around noon before they had a spot for me. when we finally got the ok to head on in, we quickly put Haley down for her nap and left for the hospital. it was 3pm before i got my iv and Pitocin. Jason and i just hung out and let the drugs do their job for a while. around 7o'clock when i decided to get an epidural. luckily my mom had handed Haley off to my brother and came to see me! Jason is no help he had to leave the room when they gave me the epidural. When they gave it to me all then all of a sudden i got really dizzy, my blood pressure had dropped. they tried giving me medicine nothing helped get it back up i felt horrible. the lowest it got was about 90/40, but i guess low blood pressure is not a big deal or at least it didn't seem like they cared. also when ever i fell asleep my oxygen levels would go down and the alarm would wake me and Jason up. finally about 3am i needed another epidural which helped me get about an hour of sleep. The nurse came in about 4am and said it was time. By the time my doctor came in all i had to do was push about three times and he was here!!

Kalahari

Mimi and Poppy got us the most wonderful Christmas gift ever a trip to Kalahari resort!!!! They also did the same for my brothers family we all decided to go together with the grandparents. It was the first time we had stayed in a hotel with Haley so we were not sure how she was going to do but it really was a wonderful getaway before the baby came!! We decided to upgrade our room to have a separate bedroom and living area so Haley could nap and sleep, she has never slept in the same room as anyone. I know she is not very flexible with any of her sleeping habits which is a blessing and a curse!!! The funny thing about getting the upgraded bedroom is that no one slept in the bed we put Haley in the porta crib in the bedroom and we slept on the pull out couch.

We had a blast Kalahari is a indoor water resort and although I was 9 months pregnant when we went and couldn’t go on any rides it was so much fun relaxing hanging out with Haley, Mim and the kids while the adults who could go on the rides left us. here are a few pictures of our trip I cant wait to make this a yearly trip!!

Night time

Haley has got us wrapped around her little finger. She has a very strict night time routine that she makes us do. it takes a little over an hour I wounder how that will all change when little brother comes along!! First she has to sit on the potty until she goes, she gets so upset if she can't go. Then Jason gives her a bath, gets her dressed and brushes her teeth. Next I take her to our bathroom where she stands in front of the mirror and watches me dry her hair. After that we spend some time reading books. Once she has gotten her fill of books and destroyed her room by pulling them all off the shelf she has to turn out the lights. Next she does airplane with Jason. Then it's into the rocking chair with mommy where we rock and sing badly. Last she gets her stuffed animals and gets tucked in and soother turned on and one last sip of water. I think that's going to have to be cut in half when the baby comes!!!

First hair cut

Everyone was telling me that Haley needed a hair cut. I really didn't want to but I eventually gave in. I guess it was time she is two. I took her to cookie cutters and she hated every minute of it!!

Let it Snow

During the recent snow storms Haley and I were able to get out in it and play. She liked to try and catch the snow with her mouth. We also attempted to build a snowman which didn't go so well. Although the snow kept Jason away most of the time he did get to play in it with Haley when he was shoveling the driveway. She really wanted to play with her slide so he set it up in the snow for her. Every time she went down she got stuck and couldn't get up.





I know I couldn't find two matching gloves so we had to work with what I could find!!!
